I’ve been trying to find coupon-clipping websites to use to clip some coupons to help cut down on my shopping expenses.  Several ladies at work have told me that they get a lot of coupons off of the Internet.  So last night I went online and found what looked to be promising, and I signed up.  I was immediately notified by my security software that there was a hacker attempt at that very second to get into my system!  Thankfully my system blocked the attack.

I thought that was strange, and a coincidence.  So I went and picked out my coupons and tried to print them off.  They wouldn’t print.  I thought I had done something wrong, so I tried it again.  Again I got that notice from my security software.  So I wonder if that website is a front for hackers, or if my security software is blocking something that I really wanted.  Either way, I guess I’m not going to get coupons from that site!

I was thinking about buying some new glassware for our kitchen, and so I was searching the Internet for some new glasses. I found this instead! I know it is an old story, but it still freaked me out a lot!

This is one of my favorite art places on the web which has everything an art loving person would want to view. Some of my favorite pieces are some the of timeless classics that date back to the renaissance times and of course even further than that like Da Vinci The Study Of man which is truly a classic and should be seen by every young adult.

When I think of all the millions of people who have seen great paintings over time probably the most seen artist paintings of all time is someone living in our time today, and that is that Artist that does Googles cool logos for different occasions of the year. I will give a cookie to the first person who leaves this artist name in the comments.

My folks were telling me that when they were younger, if they wanted to buy tickets to a sports event, or to a music concert, they had to physically go to the box office of the sports arena, or to the theatre where the concert was going to be held, to buy the tickets.  This was a major inconvenience for them because they lived quite a distance away from where the event was, and this meant that they had to make two long distance trips to get to the event that they wanted to go to see.

For example, my mother said that she wanted to go see the Rolling Stones in concert on the July 4, 1972 concert in Washington DC, but she lived over an hour away from arena.  She had to go to the arena a month before the concert (she got lost trying to get there and ended up getting lost in “the bad section of town” and was scared witless) to buy the tickets.  This was before the subway train (now in existence called Metro) had been built and she was forced to try to find it by driving.  So driving there and parking was a big issue.

It’s hard to imagine how hard it was back then to buy tickets to an event because now it is so easy to buy tickets over the phone and over the Internet.
