My family is all about giving and receiving any kind of personalized name gift item for gift giving occasions.  My older sister gave her father-in-law a Father’s Day gift that she had custom made from Letter Perspectives that spelled out his name in black and white photos of everyday objects.  It was framed very nicely, and was very artistically done. We received an invitation from Tina  to come spend the weekend at her house on the lake Maine.  Her place is a year round house in an area that is mostly wooded, with few neighbors around.  Most people around there would call her house a “camp” but I don’t really understand WHY, other than the fact that it is on a lake!  Anyway, she has a couple of spare bedrooms and has invited us to come out for a day, or the whole weekend, so we are trying to see what we can work out.  We go visit with her at least once a summer, and always have a good time, so I hope we can work it out!

I have always had a difficult time finding lingerie that I like that fits me.  I usually find it very restricting and uncomfortable.  I don’t understand what it is about my body, but it bruises easily.  When I wear panties that are not seamless, the seams hurt and leave deep depressions in my hips.  When I wear bras with hook closures the hooks leave large nasty painful purple bruises in my back.  Because of that I usually try to buy only sports bras, and the selection of sports bras in this neck of the woods is very limited!

A few months ago a friend told me about a new Internet site that was set up to help locate people.  The website is called PeekYou.comShe thought it was a great new site, and encouraged me to go to the site and check it out and see if I could find myself on it.  So I did, and to be honest I did NOT find myself and was not all that impressed at the time.  I just went on the site again and this time I DID find myself, and saw that the website had been improved quite a bit.  I think this website now is showing some real potential, especially now that so many other people-finder sites are no longer free.

There are more and more commercials on television nowadays with celebrities talking about various products and services. I think that some of them are lacking in integrity. Do all these celebrities really take the medicines they are bragging about? Do they really own and use the ovens and blenders and other gadgets that they are promoting? I think there should be full disclosure as to whether a celebrity is just being paid for their face and voice or do they truly represent what they say?
