This looks like an Improv Everywhere stunt – but I don’t think it is.  Apparently it’s a commercial for Volkswagon.  But the fast lane slide sure looks like a lot of fun!

I can’t figure out why we are having such a heat wave when it is only June. This whole month it has been in the 90 degrees and people are really stressing out about it. Me included. I don’t do well in the heat and was looking forward to a nice spring that would bring everyone some happiness about dealing with all the issues that last winter brought for us to deal with.

I have several house hold pets and this time of the year the darn fleas really become a pain in the rear. You would think that will all of the products that are available these days that I could find something that really worked and was worth the time and money spent on. Hard to be an animal lover some times.

I’m so tired of my satellite dish giving me issues. It seems that I get my service interrupted even if a bird farts any where near my dish. I’ve been looking around on the Internet to see what the local cable company has to offer and I like what I see. I’ve submitted an email to them to find out a few more things and then I’ll most likely join up. I just hope that they can do a lot better for me than Direct TV has been able to.

I remember as a kid we used to make up a few nice baskets with ribbons and flowers and place them on our neighbor’s door step, ring the bell, and then run away. I wonder what happened to that lovely May Day tradition. And when is the last time you heard of someone doing the May Pole event?
